Job summary

West Coast Wound is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to deliver mobile advanced wound care in patients' homes or SNFs, primarily in South Chicago, IL. Travel locally within your designated region is required.

The role requires IL NP or PA licensure, CPR certification, and strong communication and customer service skills. Extensive training and 24/7 support are provided; the position is full-time, part-time, or 1099 depending on needs.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an NP or PA in IL.
• CPR certification is required.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities; able to drive locally.

Responsibilities

• Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to treat patients.
• Perform wound care procedures as part of the plan of care.
• Define and document patient diagnoses.
• Ensure patient satisfaction throughout visits.
• Provide patient education and ongoing management.
• Debride wounds by various methods during visits.
• Apply topical wound care products and document treatment.
• Notate findings and follow-up plans in patient chart.
