Job summary

Wound Care Specialists, P.A . is seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to deliver mobile wound care in patients’ homes and community settings. This full-time role emphasizes autonomous practice with physician collaboration and no controlled substances.

The position requires local travel, a Master’s degree, NP/PA licensure, board certification, and a minimum of two years’ experience. Compensation starts at $115,000 per year with generous benefits and malpractice coverage.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted NP or PA license in your state
• Current NP or PA Board Certification
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred
• Master's Degree from an Accredited NP/PA program
• Wound care experience strongly preferred (WCC or similar)

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive home-based wound evaluations and ongoing assessments
• Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, and complex wounds (pressure injuries, ulcers, surgical wounds)
• Perform bedside procedures (debridement, incision and drainage, suturing, biopsy)
• Develop and implement individualized wound treatment plans
• Coordinate care with home health nurses and specialists
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and vascular studies
• Educate patients and caregivers on wound care and prevention
• Document thoroughly in EMR per Medicare/payer guidelines
• Participate in quality improvement and outcomes tracking
