Job summary

Lap of Love in Ventura, CA is hiring a Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian to serve Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Camarillo, and nearby communities. This role focuses on hospice and euthanasia care delivered in clients' homes, with flexible scheduling and a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

You'll join a network of over 400 veterinarians and support staff, with comprehensive onboarding, mentorship, and a 24/7 Support Center to help you shine while practicing independently.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license and be able to travel to assigned areas.
• Availability to work some weekends and occasional overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for patients in clients' homes.
• Deliver exceptional patient and family communication during sensitive end-of-life care.
• Manage mobile veterinary visits across Ventura, Thousand Oaks and surrounding areas.
• Collaborate with Lap of Love team mentors and practice managers for ongoing professional growth.
