Lap of Love invites you to join as an In-Home, Associate Veterinarian across Washington, DC and surrounding areas. This mobile role focuses on hospice and euthanasia care, balancing professional purpose with personal life, in a supportive, veterinarian-owned network.

Be part of a community of over 400 veterinarians and staff who value kindness, ongoing training, and accessible leadership, while you practice independently in clients’ homes.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidateswill be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families during home visits
• Join a community of Lap of Love veterinarians and support professionals, offering mentorship and independent practice while maintaining client relationships
