Job summary

Lap of Love invites a licensed DVM to join as a full-time mobile veterinarian serving Frederick, Hagerstown, MD and surrounding areas. You will provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care, creating meaningful moments with families while practicing medicine with purpose.

In this role, you will maintain high standards of patient care, participate in ongoing mentorship, and enjoy a flexible schedule designed to support your well-being and personal life.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required and eligible for veterinary licensure in the United States.
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care.
• Availability to work weekends as needed.
• Physical ability to assist with lifting pets up to 50 lb unassisted and 100 lb with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Conduct patient visits with unhurried appointments, focusing on family communication.
• Travel within Frederick, Hagerstown, MD and surrounding areas as a mobile veterinarian.
• Collaborate with Lap of Love mentorship and support staff to maintain high-quality care.
