Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian to serve Wilmington, Leland, Southport, Hampstead, Oak Island, Rocky Point and surrounding areas. You will provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families with compassion and independence, supported by experienced mentors and a collegial team.

The role emphasizes balance, flexible schedules (2–5 days per week), ongoing training, and comprehensive benefits within a growing national network of veterinarians.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check may be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Practice independently with ongoing mentorship and support.
• Deliver high‑quality veterinary care in a mobile setting to communities in Wilmington, NC and surrounding areas.
