Lap of Love is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve Columbus, OH and surrounding areas. This mobile role focuses on hospice and euthanasia care, delivering compassionate veterinary medicine in clients’ homes.

We offer flexible 2-5 day schedules with mentorship, onboarding, and a supportive team culture designed to balance professional fulfillment with personal wellbeing.

Qualifications

• DVM degree and eligibility to practice in the United States.
• Driver’s license required for home visits.
• Weekend availability may be required for scheduling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check may be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in home settings.
• Practice veterinary medicine in a mobile in-home context.
• Engage with clients with compassion, supporting their emotional needs.
• Participate in onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing professional development.
