Job summary

Lap of Love invites a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to join as a Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian serving Omaha, Fort Calhoun, Waterloo, Springfield, Bennington, Boys Town, NE and surrounding areas. This role emphasizes compassionate hospice and euthanasia care, with mentorship and community support from a large veterinary network.

Experience in mobile practice and a valid U.S. driver’s license are required, with flexible 2–5 day schedules and strong emphasis on work–life balance.

Qualifications

• DVM required (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Practice veterinary medicine in a mobile setting, visiting multiple areas.
• Operate independently with ongoing mentorship and support from Lap of Love
