Cox Enterprises, Inc. is seeking Mobile Vehicle Condition Inspectors to conduct on-site inspections for dealer clients within assigned territories. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, adherence to inspection standards, and serving as a brand ambassador for Cox Automotive.

Inspectors build strong relationships with dealers, educate on Manheim Marketplace, and adapt to changing schedules to maximize coverage and inspection volume across the territory.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required for all levels.
• Minimal automotive knowledge preferred (body & mechanical).
• 0 years of automotive-related experience preferred (Level 1).
• Valid drivers license with a safe driving record required.
• Ability to meet physical and mental demands within required timeframes.

Responsabilités

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in accordance with Manheim inspection standards.
• Locate, start, move, inspect, and return vehicles safely on dealer lots.
• Verify VINs, mileage, sub-series, and options; ensure accurate system entry.
• Inspect exterior and interior condition, including tires, frame, panels, seating, and options.
• Perform basic mechanical checks across powertrain, drivetrain, and electrical components.
• Identify and document damage, missing components, or inoperable features.
• Build trust with dealer clients through quality and responsiveness.
• Educate clients on the value of Manheim Marketplace and mobile inspections.
• Proactively engage dealers to increase inspection volume.
• Leverage data and input to maximize efficiency and territory productivity.
• Adapt to changes in daily appointments to ensure dealer coverage.
