Job summary

The Mobile Inspector role at Cox Automotive within the Manheim Mobile Inspections team focuses on on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients across an assigned territory. You will document vehicle condition accurately and timely, adhering to Manheim standards to support transparency and inventory flow.

As a brand ambassador, you will build and maintain strong dealer relationships, deliver high-quality inspections, and contribute to increased participation in mobile inspection

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 year experience in automotive inspection or related field.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle exterior/interior condition.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in accordance with Manheim inspection standards.
• Locate, start, move, inspect, and return vehicles safely on dealer client lots.
• Verify VINs, mileage, and options; ensure accurate system entry.
• Inspect exterior and interior condition including tires, frame, glass, panels, and components.
• Document mechanical, electrical, and powertrain checks.
• Identify and document damage or missing components.
