Job summary

United Site Services seeks an Utility Technician to operate various service vehicles, performing preventive checks and services at multiple sites. You will communicate with dispatch, log activities, and follow safety guidelines throughout shifts.

The role requires a CDL or non-commercial license, strong time management, and solid customer service skills. Expect field work, teamwork, and potential leadership on fence or other equipment tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Driver License (CDL or non-commercial).
• Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections and report deficiencies.
• Operate service truck to designated sites based on routing information.
• Service portable restrooms, holding tanks, septic systems, and related equipment at sites.
• Maintain truck logs in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Follow safety rules and operate different vehicle types (flat bed, fence, tanker) as needed.
• Update tickets with delivery or pickup details and communicate rerouting to dispatch.
