Job summary

TridentCare is seeking a Sonographer to provide mobile ultrasound services across nursing homes, home care facilities, prisons, and processing sites. You will travel in an automobile to various regions serviced and perform clinically diagnostic ultrasound exams ordered by physicians.

Responsibilities include self-dispatching, arriving on time, operating portable equipment, sending images for radiologist interpretation, verifying orders, and maintaining equipment and company assets.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
• Maintain required certification and registries.
• Must have valid driver's license and be able to provide copies upon request.
• Self-motivated, dependable and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Login for self-dispatching or call dispatch to obtain case loads.
• Arrive at first case at shift start; travel to various facilities.
• Unload portable ultrasound equipment and perform exams as ordered.
• Perform and process ultrasounds and send images to radiologist for interpretation.
• Verify orders against patient charts; ensure correct patient identification.
• Maintain equipment, uniform, and company provided phone.
• Communicate promptly with call center, dispatch, peers, and supervisors.
