Job summary

PrairieLand Partners, LLC seeks a Service Technician – Level 1 to perform basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on customer and dealer-owned equipment. The role reports to the Service Manager and requires CDL, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities include following manuals, communicating with customers, and maintaining equipment and tools. Training and safety compliance are emphasized for continued growth.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• CDL required.
• One+ years of service repair experience preferred.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in off-road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required.
• Forklift license preferred or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and maintenance using proper tools, techniques, and equipment for the machines the technician specializes in.
• Follows Technical Manual procedures when conducting maintenance and repairs on machines of the Technician’s specialty.
• Seeks direction from the Service Manager or senior technicians as necessary.
• Maintains communication with customers about work performed on equipment.
• Participates in required training programs to advance skills and knowledge.
• Maintains knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
