Job summary

Reefer Peterbilt in New Boston, Michigan is seeking a full-time Mobile Service Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and on-site repairs. The ideal candidate will have a Motor Vehicle Mechanic Certificate, two years of relevant experience, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid chauffeurs driver’s license with a good record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT Inspections.
• Diagnose and repair various types of truck equipment in a mobile environment.
• Document work performed and maintain a high level of productivity.
