Job summary

Dallas Trailer Repair Co. in Converse, TX is seeking a Trailer Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair trailers and related equipment in a busy shop environment.

You will follow industry standards, use hand and power tools, and document actions in our software system while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. ASE certification is a plus and a valid driver’s license may be required for mobile work.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of mechanical or equivalent experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• ASE certifications are highly desired but not required.
• Must pass pre-employment tests and background/drug screening.
• Own tools and safety gear required.
• Read/write in English for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair trailers and equipment.
• Perform repairs per manufacturer specs.
• Conduct routine maintenance on trailers and related equipment.
• Document causes and corrections in the software system.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and tools.
• Operate mobile repair vehicle or yard switcher if assigned.
