Job summary

A technology solutions company based in Waltham, MA, is looking for a Mobile Tester to support the development of mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in mobile testing and automation tools, and will work closely with the QA team to create test plans and facilitate User Acceptance Testing. Experience with programming languages such as Java, Objective C, or Swift is desirable but not mandatory. This role involves ongoing engagement in the software development test cycle.

Job Description

• Must have mobile testing application experience.
• The Software Test Engineer will support the ongoing development of client’s customer facing mobile and desktop applications.
• Participate in all facets of the software development test cycle: Create test plans, develop, execute, and maintain test cases and scripts, manage the defect log and track issue resolution with development staff. Ensure reusability of test cases/scripts building a regression suite for future testing efforts. Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Work with QA Team Lead to design and implement automated system tests using mobile test automation tools for the Android and iOS platforms.
• Experience with mobile test automation tools.
• Software development experience using language such as Java, Objective C or Swift is desired, but not mandatory.
