Job summary

Duval Ford in Jacksonville, FL seeks an experienced Mobile Technician to perform on-site vehicle maintenance and repairs, delivering exceptional customer service at the customer's location and on the road when required.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs to factory standards, coordinate with the parts team, and document all work. The role requires safety focus, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and availability for nights and weekend on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and diagnostic work on vehicles per repair orders.

• Document all work performed on the repair order.
• Road test vehicles when required; travel to customer locations as needed.

Mobile Technician

Duval Ford is seeking experienced Mobile Technicians.This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and on-site maintenance and at times may be roadside when performing their job duties.

Requirements

• Previous experience inspecting and repairing vehicles
• ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Knowledgeable and stays abreast of federal, state and local regulations
• Works in a safe manner
• Able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Must be available nights and weekends for on call rotation.
• Provide after-hours/on-call service to customers that may include fleet service.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on a repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose cause of most malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Communications with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
• Documents all work performed on the repair order
• Road tests vehicles when required
• Travel to various locations to assist customers and diagnose issues.
