Job summary

ECAM in Orange County, CA, is hiring a Low-Voltage Field Service Technician to install, service, and maintain Mobile Surveillance Units (MSUs) and CCTV systems. You will perform preventative maintenance, manage inventory, and support field projects while traveling up to 75% of the time.

Ideal candidates have a year of hands-on CCTV/alarm experience, basic electrical knowledge, and strong communication skills. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and a clear path for growth.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training preferred.
  • One year of hands-on experience with CCTV or alarm systems.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure MSUs and commercial sites under maintenance agreements are fully operational, clean, and documented; perform weekly preventative maintenance.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to guarantee timely, on-budget project completion.
  • Support subcontractors, installers, project coordinators, and sales by conducting thorough site surveys.
  • Provide consistent communication and updates to branch staff.
  • Prepare and submit detailed daily activity reports.
  • Stay current on mobile surveillance systems and related technologies.
  • Manage and update MSU and job site inventory records.
  • Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.
