Job summary

Access Dental Care | Asheville NC is seeking a licensed dentist to join our mission-driven mobile dental program, delivering high-quality general dentistry to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, older adults, and other complex cases across North Carolina.

You will lead a mobile dental team, develop treatment plans, mentor staff, and advocate for compassionate, patient-centered care in diverse settings. North Carolina license required.

Qualifications

• Licensed dentist with valid North Carolina license.
• DEA registration active and current.
• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Foster a welcoming, respectful environment for patients and families.
• Provide comprehensive dental treatment to patients with disabilities and complex needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans considering patient health and barriers to care.
• Lead and mentor a mobile dental team including hygienists and dental assistants.
• Maintain detailed clinical notes and documentation.
• Deliver high-quality care meeting standard of care in general dentistry.
