Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a proactive Global Future Leader to join as Mobile Software Product Manager in Chicago, IL. You will engage in cross‑functional rotations, drive end‑to‑end lifecycle, and contribute to market research, requirements, and product delivery from day one.

You’ll partner with engineering, design, marketing, and data teams; translate needs into PRDs and user stories; participate in usability testing and launches; and learn under senior leaders through mentorship and rotational

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Strong interest in mobile software products, product management, user experience, and digital innovation.
Experience with product-related projects through coursework, internships, research, student organizations, or personal projects.
Practical exposure to some of the following: user research, market analysis, product requirements, PRDs, user stories, backlog management, usability testing, product metrics, or release coordination.
Strong analytical thinking and ability to understand and structure business and user needs into clear product requirements.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Support end-to-end mobile software product lifecycle from research to iteration.
Conduct user research and market analysis to inform product decisions.
Translate business and user needs into clear product requirements, PRDs, and user stories.
Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, data, and other cross-functional teams to support product delivery.
Assist with backlog prioritization and backlog management under guidance of senior product managers.
Participate in product design discussions, UX optimization and usability testing.
Track product performance through key metrics and user feedback; propose improvements.
Assist with product launches, release coordination, and post-launch monitoring.
Rotate across functions to gain broad exposure to mobile product management practices.
