Job summary

Leif Johnson Ford in Austin, TX is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is independent with a strong service background and can travel to customer workplaces or homes to handle basic service needs and recalls.

Responsibilities include organizing daily appointments, performing repairs, and communicating with the Mobile Service Advisor and management. Comfort with technology and a valid driver license are required.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and organized must-have attributes.
• Valid driver license required/U.S. driving eligibility.
• Experience as a service technician is preferred.
• Comfort with using tablets and other tech devices on the job.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
• Engage with customers and represent the dealership professionally.
• Organize and prepare for daily appointments; manage time effectively.
• Perform vehicle repairs and/or maintenance as specified on repair orders.
• Communicate with Mobile Service Advisor, Parts Department and Management.
• Document repairs and stay informed on Ford technical bulletins.
