Job summary

Allied Universal® in South Chesterfield, VA, is hiring a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver. This full-time role involves patrolling a logistics and distribution site, maintaining a visible presence, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers.

A valid driver’s license is required, and you will support security operations with clear communication. The position emphasizes exceptional customer service, adherence to site policies, and a team-oriented culture

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/driver/contractor authorization.
• Document patrols, incidents, and shift activities and report concerns to management.
