Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Minneapolis, MN. You will serve and safeguard clients across aerospace and defense locations, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, control access, and provide outstanding customer service.

This full-time, unarmed role requires a valid driver’s license, basic computer use, and a commitment to safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, and communicate observations to leadership and site contacts.
