Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Mobile Repair Specialist in Florida who will service field vehicles, diagnose issues, and perform timely repairs to maintain the fleet for customers. The role includes ongoing training and a pathway for advancement.

You will work with proprietary tools, establish repair routes, manage parts inventory, and engage with a supportive team focused on safety and reliability. Hiring bonus incentives are offered where eligible.

Qualifications

• Self-starter and able to work without supervision.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools.
• Understanding of automotive/trailer mechanics.
• Valid driver\'s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment using appropriate tools to U‑Haul standards.
• Perform work in a timely manner.
• Determine causes of operating errors and decide corrective actions.
• Continued U‑Haul equipment education is required.
• Establish an effective repair route in the assigned area and ensure equipment is repaired or scheduled for repair.
• Maintain inventory of repair parts and ensure parts are charged out.
• Collaborate with teammates and follow supervisor guidance.
