A reputable service provider in the logistics industry is seeking full-time Mobile Railcar Repair Technicians in San Antonio, Texas. The ideal candidates will assist in railcar repairs, operate heavy equipment, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Experience is preferred but not required. Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not required, with paid on-the-job training available.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and/or a valid TWIC card depending on work location.
• 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Must wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams.
• Fluency in spoken, written, and read English is required.

Responsabilités

• Travel to various job sites as required, up to 75%.
• Assist with railcar repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Operate heavy equipment like forklifts and telehandlers.
• Prepare railcars for visual inspections and coordinate repairs.

Mobile Railcar Repair Technician

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Will you travel 50%-75%
• Assist with tank qualification on railcars
• Work safely around heavy equipment, railcars, and tracks
• Perform and coordinate railcar repairs and maintenance
• Operate forklift/telehandler as needed
• Prepare railcars for visual inspections (grinding, torching, buffing)
• Interpret work orders and blueprints for repairs
• Use mechanical skills for welding, cutting, and gouging
• Report needed materials or equipment
• Follow safety rules and maintain clean work areas
• Ensure compliance with FRA, AAR, ARS, and customer standards
• Complete other assigned duties as required

Job Qualifications

• Experience is a plus but not required, and paid on-the-job training is available
• May require a valid Driver's License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
• Speak, write, read fluent English
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday Day Shift (Some weekends required)
