Job summary

PLACE is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to join the Mobile Team. You will partner with engineers, product managers, and designers to ensure quality and usability across PLACE's seven mobile apps on iOS and Android.

The role emphasizes collaboration, structured bug reporting, and cross-functional testing. You’ll contribute to release readiness, perform manual testing, and help establish repeatable QA processes as the portfolio grows.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of QA, software testing, technical support, or application testing experience.
• Comfort with testing on iOS and Android devices and with app stores like App Store and Google Play.
• Ability to write clear, actionable bug reports with steps to reproduce and media.

Responsibilities

• Manually test and validate PLACE's mobile applications across iOS and Android.
• Perform functional testing of new features, enhancements, and fixes.
• Test in TestFlight and Android pre-release environments prior to production releases.
• Conduct regression testing and post-release checks.
• Identify edge cases and surface issues for engineers to address.
• Create detailed bug reports and track issues through lifecycle.
