Job summary

Alongside is seeking a QA Engineer to join the Patient Experience team to ensure the quality of iOS, Android and web applications. The role starts with hands-on manual testing and will expand to test management and automation using Xray and Claude.

You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with developers, product, and other stakeholders while exploring AI tools to enhance QA efficiency. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of QA experience, strong mobile testing skills, and a passion

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional QA/testing experience.
• Solid hands-on experience testing mobile applications, particularly iOS and Android.
• Experience with manual testing: functional, regression, exploratory.
• Experience working with software development teams in an Agile environment.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management processes.
• Familiarity with AI tools, ideally Claude.
• Willingness to learn test management and automation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on manual testing across native iOS and Android apps, and web applications.
• Plan and execute functional, regression, exploratory testing and other activities.
• Identify, investigate, document and track defects throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, product and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to test planning and improve QA processes and coverage.
• Develop and maintain structured test cases and test plans using Xray.
• Explore Claude and other AI tools to support testing and automate repetitive tasks.
• Contribute to evolution of test automation within the team.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve product quality and testing efficiency.
