Job summary

Softtek Government Solutions is seeking an Intermediate Quality Assurance / Software Test Engineer to support digital transformation initiatives. You will join an Agile delivery team, set up automated test environments, and test Flutter-based mobile apps on iOS and Android.

The role focuses on hands‑on mobile testing, building automation frameworks with Java tooling (Selenium, JMeter, JUnit), and collaborating with developers and product owners to ensure quality and timely releases.

Qualifications

At least a Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, IT, or a related discipline.
5+ years of professional software QA or testing experience.
Hands-on experience testing native mobile apps on iOS and Android.
Experience with Dart/Flutter-based mobile apps and widget-based architectures.
Proven ability to build or extend test automation frameworks, not just run scripts.
Experience with CI/CD-integrated environments and Jira for traceability.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on testing of native iOS and Android mobile applications, with emphasis on Flutter apps.
Design, build, extend, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts using Java-based tooling (Selenium, JMeter, JUnit).
Implement automated functional, integration, regression, and performance tests per the automation architecture.
Collaborate with the Test Automation Architect to align tests with framework design and standards.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure traceability of tests to user stories.
Create and maintain test cases, automation artifacts, and defect evidence in Jira.
Conduct manual and exploratory testing to identify defects beyond scripted tests.
