Job summary

HealthDrive Corporation is seeking a part-time Podiatrist (3 days/week) to cover Rhode Island nursing facilities. You will deliver general podiatry care, conduct evaluations, and manage wound care across multiple sites, traveling daily within the territory.

Offered: flexible schedule, malpractice coverage, administrative support, and equipment provided, including a laptop with a proprietary EMR system. Prior residency and active licensure required.

Qualifications

• D.P.M. required with active state license.
• Completion of a one year podiatric residency program.
• Current State professional license.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently daily.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to use email and healthcare software.

Responsibilities

• Provide general podiatry services to residents in nursing homes and facilities.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and routine podiatry care.
• Provide wound care management.
• Enter patient information and complete documentation in EMR.

Responsibilities

The Podiatrist will provide general podiatry services to the residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long term care facilities within an assigned territory.

Essential Functions

• Conducts comprehensive evaluations and regular podiatry care
• Provides wound care management
• Enters patient information and completes required clinical documentation in our cutting-edge EMR system
• Mobile model treatment of patients requires daily travel to skilled nursing facilities
• Perform other duties as assigned
