Job summary

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance Mechanic to travel to plant sites and perform repairs, preventive maintenance and inspections on crushers, conveyors, screens and pumps. The role requires welding, fabrication and troubleshooting skills, with a strong safety focus across multiple locations.

The position involves daytime hours with potential overtime and travel to various Arcosa sites to support continuous operation.

Qualifications

• Must have welding experience and be able to perform fabrications.
• Experience in preventive maintenance of crushers, conveyors, screens and pumps is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Ability to read/interpret maintenance manuals and blueprints.
• Willingness to travel to plant sites as needed.
• Must pass safety and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency repairs on plant equipment to minimize downtime.
• Conduct wear parts changes, liner changes, and pump servicing for efficiency.
• Fabricate or repair components using torches, grinders and welding equipment.
• Inspect equipment, document findings and report repair needs.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and vehicles.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with plant operators and safety teams.
• Support general plant operations and uphold safety standards.
