Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a Mobile Examiner to cover field exams, ensure timely specimen collection, and maintain a safe, professional environment for clients and staff. You will perform phlebotomy duties, collect vitals and histories, and handle paperwork in a fast-paced, patient-facing role.

The role requires accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to travel to client sites as needed. Prior phlebotomy experience and a valid license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 100 documented successful blood draws required.
• Minimum one-year phlebotomy experience. Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients is a plus.
• Preferred urine or hair follicle collection and EKG experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Collects specimens according to established procedures.
• Conducts in center exams and mobile exams, including taking basic vitals, medical histories, venipuncture, urine collection, and EKG.
• Label, centrifuge and split specimens as required by test order.
• Upload and complete cases in portal within 24hrson weekdays and within 48hrson weekends.
• Package specimens for transport and ship to lab indicated on work orders.
• Provides customer service to clients.
• Follows current Examiner’s Manual.
• Maintains all appropriate Phlebotomy logs.
• Maintains error rate of no more than 3%.
• Reports on time to work, following attendance guidelines.
