Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Mobile Examiner to cover field exams, ensuring accurate and timely blood draws and specimen handling. The role involves in-center and mobile exams, including vitals, venipuncture, urine collection, and EKG, with emphasis on adherence to procedures and safety.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of phlebotomy experience and a High School diploma or equivalent, plus Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 100 documented successful blood draws required.
• Minimum one-year phlebotomy experience; pediatric and geriatric patients a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Conduct in-center and mobile exams including vitals, venipuncture, urine collection, and EKG.
• Maintain accurate records and complete paperwork.
• Label, centrifuge, and split specimens as required by test orders.
• Package specimens for transport and ship to the lab as indicated on work orders.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients.
