Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks a Mobile Examiner to cover field exams, collect specimens, and ensure safety and accuracy in every step. You will perform venipuncture, urine collection, basic vitals, and pre-employment screens, while maintaining compliance with SOPs and company policies.

You will mentor new staff, document cases, and coordinate with clients, with flexible travel within a 25‑mile radius and standard weekday/weekend expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 100 documented successful blood draws required; minimum one-year phlebotomy experience.
• Preferred urine or hair follicle collection and EKG experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Collects specimens according to established procedures.
• Conducts in-center exams and mobile exams, including venipuncture, urine collection, EKG, and pre-employment drug screenings.
• Completes application packets and other paperwork accurately.
• Labels, centrifuges and splits specimens as required by test orders.
• Uploads and completes cases in portal within 24 hours on weekdays and 48 hours on weekends.
• Maintains records of each specimen collected and submits paperwork to destination.
• Provides customer service to clients and adheres to SOPs and policies.
• Mentors and acts as a resource for new employees with phlebotomy training guidelines.
• Travels up to a 25 mile radius and maintains availability dates in Examview.
