Job summary

Mobile Wellness Solutions is seeking an experienced phlebotomist to perform sample collection at client sites. The role involves traveling to various locations to draw blood, urine, and conduct EKGs while maintaining patient records and ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities include obtaining vitals, labeling samples accurately, and gathering medical history. Some travel expenses are covered, with bi-weekly pay; this is not an hourly or salaried position.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a phlebotomist.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA/PHI regulations.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Professional, responsible, self-starter with excellent attention to detail and good penmanship.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to specified locations to obtain samples as required.
• Disinfect extraction sites using alcohol swabs.
• Gather mandatory information from patients and verify their identities.
• Obtain vitals, blood, urine, EKG, and medical history.
• Accurately label all samples.
• Maintain accurate patient records, detailing any medical issues experienced during venipuncture that may affect test results.
