Centers Laboratory is seeking a Part-time Phlebotomist for an Assisted Living Facility in Oriskany, NY. The ideal candidate has 2 years of experience and excellent interpersonal skills. Will work across multiple locations and report to the Phlebotomy Supervisor.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, blood draws, labeling, and maintaining accurate records while adhering to safety standards. Schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy Technician certificate preferred or completion of a hospital/lab training program.
• Two years of proven phlebotomy experience is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Identify patients and prepare them for blood draws with proper safety procedures.
• Draw blood using correct venipuncture technique and proper PPE.
• Label specimens accurately and ensure correct test tube order of draw.
• Maintain patient records and keep a clean, sanitary workspace.
• Monitor patient comfort, respond to questions, and follow safety rules.
