Job summary

ExamOne, A Quest Diagnostics Company is seeking a medically trained Mobile Collector. This part-time, on-call role lets you set your own days and hours and travel within a 30-mile radius to collect samples at homes or other locations.

The role requires skilled phlebotomy with a minimum of 100 successful blood draws, ability to take manual blood pressures and pulses, reliable transportation, and your own computer, printer and scanner. Bi-lingual is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation and current auto insurance unless using public transit in a large metro area.
• Willing to travel within a 30-mile radius.
• Must have own computer, internet, cell phone, printer and scanner.
• Bi-lingual skills are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform home or workplace specimen collections and collect medical histories.
• Conduct venipuncture, vitals, urine collection; EKG experience is a plus but not required.
• Coordinate with clients to schedule appointments; manage calendar availability.
• Ensure proper documentation and specimen handling.

Job description

Medically trained Mobile Collector.

As a Mobile Collector, you would be a part-time, on-call and at-will employee.

What does this mean?

• On-Call and At-Will equals Flexibility! You will choose the days and hours you wish to work and the areas you wish to work in. You manage your calendar of availability.

What is a Collection?

• You will be responsible for collecting medical histories, venipuncture, manual blood pressure, vitals, and urine specimens. EKG experience is a plus but not required.

Where are collections performed?

• ExamOne mobile collectors perform collections at the individual’s home, workplace or specified location.

Requirements you must meet:

• Every collector must be a skilled phlebotomist and must have a minimum of 100 successful practical blood draws. We will need to verify this prior to starting the on-boarding process.
• Must be skilled in taking manual blood pressures and pulses.
• Must have reliable transportation and current auto insurance unless taking public transportation i.e. large metropolitan city.
• Must be willing to travel within an assigned 30-mile radius.
• It is essential that you have your own computer, internet, cell phone, printer & scanner.
• Bi-lingual and EKG experience is a plus but not required.
