Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a MOBILE PHLEBOTOMIST/MEDICAL ASSISTANT on a per diem independent contractor basis to cover Hazleton area and surrounding towns in Luzerne County. You will travel to client sites, label specimens, and complete required paperwork using our portal.

Training for EKGs and equipment will be provided. Work is 1-2 weekdays from 9am to 1pm and one Saturday morning per month, with pay issued per exam.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel to client locations for appointments.
• Own transportation with valid license and insurance is required.
• Ability to schedule and coordinate visits with clients.
• Proficiency with basic computer tasks and portal documentation.

MOBILE PHLEBOTOMIST/MEDICAL ASSISTANT - PER DIEM INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR

COVERAGE: HAZLETON AREA AND SURROUNDING TOWNS IN LUZERNE COUNTY

PAY RANGE: $25 - $50 PER EXAM

JOB DETAILS:

• Must be willing to travel to client's location for appointments.


• Availability required is for 1-2 weekdays from 9am - 1pm and 1 Saturday morning a month, other availability to schedule clients would be a plus including any afternoons or early evenings.


• Paid on a fee per case basis twice a month.


• Accurately labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, documentation of health histories, manual vital signs, and obtaining EKG's when needed (will train with our equipment).


• Call clients, schedule them, centrifuge SST, scan paperwork when finished & complete out in the portal, FedEx out all specimens.


• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Professional, responsible, and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.


• Reliable transportation, current Driver's License & Auto insurance.


• Must have computer with internet access, a printer to print orders and documents.


• YOU MUST SUPPLY YOUR OWN: BP cuffs ( reg. & large). Stethoscope, scale that goes to 360 lbs., metal tape measure. Blood and urine kits will be provided to you along with a centrifuge and EKG machine.


• BACKGROUND CHECK AND URINE DRUG SCREEN REQUIRED.
