Mako Medical is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to travel to Skilled Nursing Facilities and private residences to collect specimens and service patients. You will collect urine and oral fluid samples, maintain logs, and ensure timely processing while upholding strict privacy and safety policies.

The role involves clerical tasks, data entry, inventory support, and collaboration on teams. A professional appearance and on-time attendance are essential components of daily duties.

Aufgaben

• Travel to Skilled Nursing Facilities and Private Residential homes to service patients.
• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Complete requisitions accurately.
• Process and package specimens for transport. Maintain required records and documentation.
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
• Maintain all appropriate collection logs.
• Clerical duties: filing, maintain customer log. Data entry required.
• Submit accurate expense forms, if applicable, on the required day.
• Adhere to grooming and dress code and lab coat policies.
• Report to work on time; follow attendance guidelines.
• Answer the telephone in a friendly and helpful manner and communicate with clients.
• Keep information confidential per company and procedural policies.
• Communicate unresolved problems to the appropriate Manager or Supervisor for resolution.
• Keep work area neat and dispose of biohazard containers when scheduled.
• Help with inventories and other tasks; stock supplies as needed.
• Perform department-related clerical duties when assigned.
• Answer phones and dispatch calls when assigned.
• Participate on teams and special projects when asked.
• Other duties as assigned.

Travel to Skilled Nursing Facilities and Private Residential homes to service patients. Treat all customers in a courteous manner. Ensures all urine and oral fluid specimens and phlebotomy specimens are collected accurately and on time.

• Collects specimens according to established procedures.
• Responsible for completing requisitions accurately
• Process and package specimens for transport. Maintains required records and documentation.
• Reads, understands and complies with departmental policies, protocols and procedures: (i.e. Procedure Manuals, Safety Manual, Compliance Manual, Automobile policies and procedures, Employee Handbook, Quality Assurance Manual).
• Maintains all appropriate Collection logs.
• Clerical duties: filing, maintain customer log. Data entry required.
• Submits accurate expense forms, if applicable, on the required day. Demonstrates organizational commitment.
• Adheres to departmental and company code of grooming and dress code and lab coat policies, appearing neat and clean at all times.
• Reports on time to work, following attendance guidelines.
• Answers the telephone in a friendly and helpful manner, by incorporating the company name, self-identification and a helpful statement Communicates appropriately with clients, customers, coworkers and the general public.
• Keeps information confidential per company and procedural policies.
• Communicates all unresolved problems immediately to the appropriate Manager, Supervisor, Group Leader or Phlebotomy Services Rep. II for resolution. Remains polite and courteous at all time. Miscellaneous duties and responsibilities.
