Job summary

APPS Paramedical is the nation’s leading health information provider offering mobile paramedical exams across Utah for life insurance clients.

We seek dependable professionals to work flexible PRN in most Utah areas, performing health histories, vitals, specimen collection, and possibly ECG tracings as needed. Candidates must hold current licensure and have phlebotomy experience with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or medical training certification as required by state for phlebotomy services.
• Minimum of 1 year phlebotomy experience with at least 200 successful draws.
• Must have valid driver’s license and own transportation with valid insurance.
• Excellent communication, organization, and technical skills with courteous, professional interaction with clients and staff.
• Must have computer, cell phone, and fax capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile paramedical exams including health history, vitals, and specimen collection (blood, urine, etc.).
• May complete ECG tracings depending on area; local office will determine need.
• Schedule your own hours and indicate availability for cases.
• Maintain strong communication with the branch office regarding case status.

APPS Paramedical is the nation’s largest and most technologically advanced health information provider. Our network of health professionals conducts physical examinations, testing, and personal health interviews, primarily for the life insurance industry.

We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented medical professionals to work flexible PRN, in most areas of Utah.

Responsibilities May Include

• Performing mobile paramedical exams (health history, vitals, obtain and complete specimens (blood, urine, etc.).
• May complete ECG tracings (ecg's not available in all areas; the local office will determine this need).
• The ability to schedule your own hours; you tell us when you are available to assist with cases.
• Must have strong and continued communication with the branch office regarding case status.

Qualified Candidates Must Have

• Current licensure, certificate of medical training (e.g., RN, LPN, Med Tech, Medical Assistant, and Paramedics) as required by your state for completion of phlebotomy services.
• Must have one year of current phlebotomy experience and completed a minimum of 200 successful draws, valid driver’s license, and own transportation with valid insurance.
• The position requires excellent communication, organization, and technical skills: the interpersonal skills to interface extensively with clients, management, and office staff, as well as a high level of courtesy, tact, and professionalism.
• The candidate must also have a computer, cell phone, and fax capabilities. Fixed compensation per case completed.
