Job summary

ProHealth Care is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to perform blood specimen collection across hospital departments and off-site locations such as SNFs, AL facilities, group homes, and other long-term care settings. You will collect blood by venipuncture, capillary, or arterial methods and document results in the Electronic Health Record, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ASCP Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
• Valid Wisconsin driver's license in good standing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Procures blood specimens by venipuncture, capillary, or arterial collection.
• Performs specimen procurement in hospital departments and off-site facilities.
• Documents collection in the EHR and reconciles shift reports using AIDET in communications.
• May perform CLIA-waived testing and instruct patients as needed.
