Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist to collect patient specimens across contracted facilities, patient homes, and health fairs. You will operate independently with minimal on-site support, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with laboratory standards.

Qualifications

  • BLS Required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent in compliance with CLIA regulation is required.
  • One year of Intermountain Laboratory Services phlebotomy experience, phlebotomy training or certification as approved by manager/supervisor is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform specimen collection using venipuncture, capillary puncture, PIVO, and throat swabs.
  • Travel to contracted facilities, patient homes, and health fairs to collect specimens.
  • Maintain accurate patient logs and records; document mileage for reimbursement.
