Qualifications

• Experience as Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician.
• Phlebotomy diploma preferred.
• Knowledge of patient identification and legal requirements for blood draws and samples.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency.
• Collect patients' personal information.
• Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient.
• Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process.
• Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood.
• Correctly label samples and send them for testing.
