Job summary

American Para Professional Systems, Inc. seeks a Mobile Phlebotomist to join a national team. This role offers a flexible schedule, on-the-road work, and per diem/contract arrangements in the Portsmouth, VA area. You will collect samples, monitor supplies, and perform health history and vital sign checks during mobile exams.

The position requires phlebotomy experience, strong patient rapport, and a valid driver’s license. Access to a tablet or laptop and reliable mobile connectivity is expected.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience required (1 year or 1,000+ sticks).
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and insurance.
• Access to a mobile phone, laptop, tablet with mobile wi-fi.

Responsibilities

• Collect and store blood/ urine samples from patients.
• Monitor storage and inventory of supplies.
• Maintain clean and healthy work environment.
• Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures.
• Perform mobile paramedical exams (Health history, vital signs).
