Job summary

Asset Risk Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform mobile blood-draw visits at patients' homes across the Southern Tier of New York and the northern Pennsylvania border area around Hornell, NY.

This part-time, as-needed contractor role offers flexible scheduling and requires reliable transportation to reach multiple locations. Compensation is paid per successful blood draw, ranging from $30-$40 per patient depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Knowledge of patient identification methods
• Familiarity with blood draw regulations

Responsibilities

• Prioritize requests based on urgency
• Collect patients' personal information
• Determine the venipuncture method for each patient
• Provide reassurance during collection
• Use sterile needles and vials for blood draws
• Label samples and send for testing
• Never send back needles with any blood draw
