Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Mobile Examiner/Phlebotomist to collect specimens accurately and on time in center and mobile settings. You will perform venipuncture, urine collection, EKG, and pre-employment screenings, while ensuring proper paperwork and specimen handling.

Responsibilities include labeling, processing, and shipping specimens, maintaining logs, and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 100 documented successful blood draws.
• At least 1 year phlebotomy experience; pediatric/geriatric experience a plus.
• Preferred urine or hair follicle collection and EKG experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Collect samples via venipuncture, urine collection and EKG, in center or mobile exams.
• Complete application packets and paperwork accurately.
• Label, centrifuge and split specimens per test order.
• Upload and complete cases in portal within 24 hours on weekdays and 48 hours on weekends.
• Package specimens for transport and ship to the indicated lab.
• Provide customer service to clients.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and comply with manuals and policies.
