Job summary

PTI Health seeks an experienced, full-time Mobile Phlebotomist to procure blood and other specimens from home-bound patients and facilities, with no weekends or holidays. Expect a Monday–Friday, 7 am–3 pm schedule and mileage reimbursement, plus a sign-on bonus and benefits.

Applicants should hold a current phlebotomy certificate and have at least two years of experience; mobile phlebotomy experience is a plus. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with the highest level of care.
• Procure blood and other laboratory specimens using venipuncture or other approved methods.
• Process specimens (centrifuge, pipette, freeze when required).
• Transport specimens to local lab or PSC for processing.
• Work Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shift, typically 7 am to 3 pm.

Job description

OVERVIEW

PTI Health (www.ptihealth.com) seeks an experienced, full-time Mobile Phlebotomist who has a passion for caring for people. We have multiple positions available for immediate hire. As a PTI Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for the procurement of blood and other laboratory specimens from home-bound patients and patients at facilities such as nursing homes, drug rehabilitation centers, and adult daycares. This position requires attention to detail, a great attitude, empathy, patience, a caring spirit, and excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide patients with the highest level of care. Uphold the highest level of ethical behavior. Follow policies, procedures, and requirements stipulated by PTI Mobile Lab and our partners. Procure blood and other laboratory specimens from patients utilizing standard venipuncture (and other appropriate) procedures. Process specimens (centrifuge, pipette, and freeze when required). Transport specimens to local lab or PSC for processing. Our phlebotomists work Monday-Friday, no weekends or holidays. They work an 8-hour day shift that typically starts at 7 am and ends at 3 pm.

REQUIREMENTS

Valid NCPT Phlebotomy certificate by NCCT, NHA or a current certification by an accepted certifying agency for phlebotomy. This job requires employees to demonstrate initial and annual competencies in order to remain in the position. In addition, candidate should have:

• Experience using a smartphone, computer, and office printer
• Reliable, efficient transportation with valid driver license and proof of current liability insurance
• Minimum two (2) years of experience.
• Mobile Phlebotomy experience a plus.

COMPENSATION

$1,000 SIGN ON BONUS & Compensation changes, and is based on the number of accurately completed draws or specimen collection. Our phlebotomists typically make (full-time): $20.00 - $37.00 per hour., and are reimbursed for all miles driven. In addition to base compensation, our employees also enjoy:
