A nationwide mobile phlebotomy service is seeking a phlebotomist responsible for traveling to various locations to obtain blood samples. Candidates must have proven experience and strong attention to detail. The role includes maintaining accurate patient records and requires a valid driver's license and good communication skills. This position offers pay per event and some travel expenses may be covered.

Job Details

• The candidate/phlebotomist is responsible for venipuncture via the vacutainer method.
• The candidate will travel to the customer's location for appointments.
• Paid per event hourly.
• Bi-Weekly Pay.
• Some travel expenses are covered depending on the location of the event.
• DOT Certified Drug and Alcohol Collector a PLUS.

Responsibilities

• Traveling to specified locations to obtain samples as required.
• Disinfecting extraction sites using alcohol swabs.
• Accurately labeling all samples.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, which include detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures that may affect the accuracy of test results.

Requirements

• Proven experienced phlebotomist.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid Auto Insurance
• Excellent customer service & communication skills.
• Knowledge regarding HIPAA/PHI law.
• Detail-oriented/sound organizational skills.
• Professional, responsible, self-starter with excellent attention to detail and good penmanship.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Must be computer proficient, have internet access, and a printer/scanner: to print, scan, and upload completed documents.
