Job summary

American Health Associates, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to serve the St. Louis, Missouri region, visiting patient homes, skilled nursing, and assisted living facilities to bring quality laboratory services directly to patients.

You will perform venipuncture with care, ensure proper labeling and transport, and provide compassionate patient care while documenting and coordinating with lab staff. A valid driver's license and phlebotomy experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year phlebotomy work experience preferred.
• Valid state-issued Driver License; must be at least 21 years old.
• Clean driving record for last 5 years; provide proof of auto insurance coverage (100/300/100).
• Clean criminal history; background checks may apply in some states for direct patient care.
• Phlebotomy Certification from an accredited training school or equivalent, preferred.
• Home Draws: minimum of 3 years phlebotomy experience; additional credentialing may be required.
• Must possess a passion for SAFETY and CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing facilities, and other healthcare locations across St Louis, MO.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary collection techniques to collect blood specimens.
• Verify patient identity and ensure correct specimen labeling, integrity, and transport.
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and partners.
• Complete required documentation and communicate with lab and facility staff.

The role

Are you a skilled phlebotomist who enjoys working independently and providing exceptional patient care? We’re seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to join our growing team serving patients throughout the St Louis, Missouri region — visiting patient homes, skilled nursing and assisted living communities, and bringing quality laboratory services directly to the people who need them most.

What your day looks like

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across St Louis, Missouri
• Collect blood specimens using expert venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners
• Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and facility staff

What you bring

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance (100/300/100), and age 21+
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Home Draws: Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy work experience required; additional credentialing requirements must be successfully completed prior to working on our Home Draw team!
