Job summary

PharMerica in Greensburg, PA is seeking a Mobile Pharmacy Technician to travel 60-70% of the time, supporting pharmacy operations, preparation, and patient care across multiple sites. • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Pharmacy technician certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple locations to support pharmacy operations and medication distribution.
• Collects information needed to fill prescriptions from customers or healthcare professionals.
• Measures, mixes, and labels medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Ensures accurate prescription preparation and dispensing.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
• Process insurance claims and handle medication inquiries.
• Ensure inventory control and proper storage of medications during transit.
• Adhere to all safety and security protocols while transporting medications.
• Communicate effectively with pharmacy teams and healthcare professionals.
• Supervisory Responsibility: No

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mobile Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role requires extensive travel (60-70%) to various locations to assist in pharmacy operations, medication preparation, and patient support. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

**To perform this role will require frequently sitting, standing, walking, typing on a keyboard with fingers and occasionally bending, reaching, and climbing (stairs/ladders). The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull and lift/carry 11-20 lbs.**
