Job summary
Pet Evolution Richmond is seeking a mobile groomer to deliver top-quality pet grooming services at clients’ locations, including nail care and full grooming packages. You will work independently in a dynamic, pet-loving environment, driving a Mercedes Sprinter van to appointments and ensuring a calm, stress-free experience for pets and their owners.
The role emphasizes compassionate animal handling, grooming expertise, and excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school graduate.
- Clean driving record required.
- Prior mobile grooming, mobile nail van tech, bather, or vet tech experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform nail trimming and filing for dogs and cats.
- Drive and operate the mobile van as a single-person crew.
- Provide full grooming services including bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, etc.
- Safely handle and restrain animals.
- Clean and sanitize tools after each appointment.
- Communicate with pet owners to understand needs.
- Maintain records of services and client information.
- Serve walk-in clients for ad-hoc services.
- Answer phones and schedule appointments.
